Dele Farotimi is a retired legal practitioner and the author of three thought-provoking and insightful books:

In 2002, he established Dele Farotimi & Co (now DF Legal), a full-service law firm, and remained in active legal practice until his retirement in 2018 at the age of 50.
Although not a politician, Dele Farotimi played an active role during the 2023 Presidential Election, where he served as an official spokesperson for the Labour Party.
Dele Farotimi is ardent about advocating for good governance, equity, and justice. He uses his platforms to create political awareness, enlighten, sensitize, and galvanize citizens. He remains passionate about the birth of a new and better Nigeria.
Over the years, Dele has used his voice and pen to advocate for a better Nigeria: a Nigeria, whose people are liberated from the shackles of mental slavery and weaponized poverty; a Nigeria whose politicians are driven by love for her and not personal interests nor selfish gain. Where its leaders serve on the principles of accountability, transparency, equity and justice; a Nigeria that will rise to take her place at the frontline.
Driven by this compelling vision for change, Dele, as his usual practice, lent his voice to campaign for the liberation of the people from the oppressive Nigerian state in his book “Do Not Die in their War” which was released in the year 2019. A book that has remained a topic of discourse in many circles.
He opines the need for a total overhaul of the Nigerian system and the 1999 Constitution.
In 2021, he released yet another thought provoking book titled “Imperatives of the Nigerian Revolution”.
Delr Farotimi is passionate about the birth of a new and better Nigeria.
