I have started the book with the above title several times over the years, and as many times, abandoned the efforts. Something wouldn’t seem right, and I would then stop writing, only to restart, and only for the cycle to repeat itself ad infinitum.
Observing the British Monarchy’s response to the inevitability of death, has again reminded me of the need to write the book, and do so urgently. After all, as I have joked with my editor and friends, I am the one keeping the different subjects of the treatise alive, for none of them may die until the book is published, as I have no intention whatsoever of libeling the dead, but it is my intention to speak ill of the living, and afford them the opportunity to dare to sue me for libel.
I intend to tell the truth about The Magician at the Nigerian Bar, Elder Jibiti that corrupted the Supremes. And yes, of the ironclad proof of the putrefactions involving him. He it is, who has serially corrupted the pool of justice, whilst pontificating and preaching judicial uprightness.
I shall be telling the truth I know of the Lizard that sells cars. Of how he is a cheat, and not a man of honor, and how he got another judicial magician to perform magic in the judiciary. Or I might leave that story for another day.
What about awon oga SGs, the ones that were gbawaju gbe hin? Perhaps it is time to tell of their roles, that of the sister CJs, and all that were caught up in the Eletu tragedy, including the wedding chairlady that was issuing corrupt rulings in secret.
Ojo ti ah ku la n’de’ere, enia o su’won la’ye. We are deified by death, but we are terrible alive, that is the common affliction of humanity. But some people are truly vile, and when we speak to their evil only whilst they are dead, we libel the dead, and are defined by sniveling cowardice, even when we were not intending to be cowardly.
Our collective silence as a people, have served to normalize evil, and we have as a people, become acculturated to insanity. What we have tolerated have become the norm, and it is my intention to speak whilst these men and women are alive and well, and able to challenge me in their own courts of law.
And yes, once again. I did sue the senior Magician in their court of law, but that is where Wedding Chairlady, J. secretly threw out my libel case against the senior magician, 8 months after she had reserved her ruling on a magical application. The Nigerian temple of justice, is nothing short of a vile brothel, barring scant exceptions. From top, to bottom!
So, may iya Charley Rest In Peace, but a fair and just God, shall be most impartial, if He should look upon her with anything less than the wrath He would appear to have reserved for we, His African children, whom her ancestors, institutions, and state, have turned to serfs and bondsmen, and cause the same kind of ancestral curses, to be upon her own generations too. That Nigerian Pentecostal Pastors shall be required to lay hands on them and perform deliverances for the princes and princesses, and pay tithes and offerings before these ancestral curses might be lifted. Ase waa ni ti’reke!
To Iya Charley, we say goodnight madame, and to the lot here in Nigeria: #Enikure!
